Community Interest Care is looking for community care assistants to join our Domiciliary Care Team. If you are driven to make a real difference in your local community, if you care about people and if you are willing to help provide high-quality care to people in your community who need help and support, we’d love to hear from you.

We offer exceptionally competitive rates of pay (£12-£12.50 per hour), fully paid travel time and mileage at 45p/mile.

 

As a community care assistant, your main duties will include:

  • Personal Care: dressing, washing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Accompanying the client to activities or to a medical appointment
  • Companionship: communicating with and taking an interest in the client’s needs.
  • Helping with household tasks, including, doing weekly shopping, household maintenance, food preparation and assistance with meals.

We’re looking for kind, compassionate and naturally caring Individuals who have a real passion for caring for others. No experience is needed as full support and training will be provided on the job. We do ask that applicants have a full UK driving license, please.

All applicants will have full support and mentoring right from your application stage. We also provide full basic care training and will support you further if you wish to complete additional qualifications in care. Community Interest Care will cover the cost of your registration with Social Care Wales and provide all your uniforms and PPE.
