Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant who reside in the UK to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to service users in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
Duties
- Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care, personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with service users, their families, supervisors and other healthcare staff to ensure a high standard of care.
- Drive to various locations as required for home care visits.
- Ensure that the environment is safe and clean for all patients.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential (desirable but not compulsory).
- Strong IT skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Empathy and compassion towards service user, with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- A valid driving licence and a vehicle is advantageous for this role and for UK sponsorship.
